There was a time when I was crazy about classical movies. I could sit and watch them for hours, I felt a constant link to the past, and constantly reminiscened about times and places, that I have nothing to do with. But like everything else, this passion died away with time.
Two days ago, as I was flipping across tv channels, I ran across a movie on TCM, called "Anchors Aweigh" and what grabbed my attention was an amazing sunflower dress worn by Kathryn Grayson. It was probably one of the most beautiful dresses I have ever seen. I searched for it online, and couldn't find except a photo in another blog, whose owner shares the same admiration for the dress.
Such a dramatic dress!!
The movie was produced in 1945, a famous award-winning musical, it stars Gene Kelly, Kathryn Grayson and a young Frank Sinatra. The movie is very famous for a musical number in which Gene Kelly dances with Hanna-Barbara's Jerry.
